Welcome to KMUN I!

This is the first annual session of KMUN hosted by Kaohsiung American School (KAS). This year, the theme of "Unity and Diversity" aims to solve humanitarian crises, ongoing conflicts, and its exploitation of minority groups, when the world has been torn between the spectrum of just and unjust. With the prevailing issues continuously spreading all across our globe, it is crucial for an era of progression to be brought and for justice to be seen navigating through issues. An era of progression defines the advancement of technology, diplomatic relationships, measures to combat crises, but also the start to a society where justice can be seen and enforced.

 

KMUN aims to stimulate critical thinking, and provides the opportunity for debaters to view global issues from a variety of perspectives. The KMUN community is fulfilled with supportive members, allowing each and every attendee to return with a new extend of open-mindedness for this complex global community.
