By simulating the United Nations, KMUN is dedicated to upholding the spirit and purpose of the UN while empowering students to become active global citizens. We inspire participants to engage with the UN Global Goals—economic, social, and environmental sustainability; peace, justice, and human rights; and international cooperation, partnerships, and solidarity. Through debate and collaboration, KMUN equips students with essential skills in communication, negotiation, coalition-building, and policy formulation, enabling them to transform awareness into meaningful action. Our conferences serve as a bridge between pressing global challenges and local initiatives, amplifying individual efforts into collective impact on a global scale. As a student-run conference, KMUN nurtures future leaders by entrusting officers, administrative staff, press, and team members with significant responsibilities, cultivating both leadership and teamwork. At the same time, we value balance and community, providing opportunities for social connection and shared experiences that enrich the intensity of substantive debate.
