General Assembly 4

Head Chair
Leo Wang
Fellow delegates, welcome to the KMUN I! I’m Leo Wang, a junior at Pacific American School in Hsinchu. It is an honor to serve as your Head Chair for the General Assembly 4 this year. KMUN will be my 17th conference and 2nd time chairing. For me, MUN is not just the exchange of conversations between delegates in committee rooms. It is a bridge between student experience and international interconnectedness. My MUN journey began 4 years ago from a simple conversation with my friends. Since then MUN has become an integral part of my academic journey and has completely transformed my life both inside and outside of the committee rooms. MUN is not just an academic exercise but rather a connection to real-world diplomacy, where preparation and adapting with empathy set the stage for success.
Whether you are an experienced delegate or a first-timer, I strongly encourage everyone to be as active as possible and do not be afraid to approach the podium to speak up. A fruitful debate is built on well-reasoned, constructive contributions, not linguistic perfection. I would also encourage more experienced delegates to help with the first timers to enhance everyone's experience.
Besides MUN, I also enjoy watching baseball, F1, and competitive robotics. Lastly, I hope this year’s KUMN will be memorable to all and hopefully this conference will motivate you into enjoying MUN! Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any questions or concerns!

Deputy Chair
Alegria Hung
Hello delegates! Welcome to General Assembly 4. My name is Alegria Hung, a sophomore at Kaohsiung American School, and it is my utmost honor to serve as your deputy chair for GA4 in KMUN I. This will be my tenth conference and my second time chairing. I will be specialising in issue (302) “Establishing a framework to ensure equal access to programs for refugee and migrant children.
I first started my MUN journey in sixth grade at STMUN. At first, I really despised MUN because it felt suffocating and scary to me. It wasn’t until seventh grade that I started to enjoy going to conferences and truly understood the experience of MUN. Since then, MUN has continued to shape the way I view global issues and communicate with others. I hope to create an environment where you will all feel comfortable in this committee to share your perspectives
Furthermore, in my free time, I enjoy listening to music, watching Netflix, and doomscrolling Instagram reels. If you encounter any issues, feel free to contact me through my email: alehun28@kas.tw or my Instagram: @a.leg_ria. I hope to witness all of your passionate debating skills. See you all in February!

Deputy Chair
Allison Li
Welcome, delegates!
My name is Allison Li, a junior at Ivy Collegiate Academy (ICA), and I’m honored to serve as your deputy chair for KMUN. This is my fourth conference and the first time being a chair. My MUN journey began because I wanted to improve my public speaking skills, but over time, it became one of the most meaningful parts of my school life. Making friends, debating global issues, and trying to push myself out of my comfort zone have shaped me today.
Although I started as an unconfident delegate who had no idea when to raise my placard, every conference helped me grow more comfortable and confident. What I love most about MUN is the passion and effort that have been put into their speeches, working papers, and resolutions. Stepping out of the comfort zone might feel difficult at first, but with encouragement and support, it becomes easier than you might think. I’m truly looking forward to playing a part in that growth and improvement.
Besides MUN, I love playing piano and traveling!! I also like to watch movies of almost any genre. Whether this is your first conference or your last, I truly hope that KMUN will be one of the most memorable conferences in your MUN journey.
